Welcome to the Jobbit Help section! We’ve created a bunch of pages here which should help you get the most out of Jobbit. Use the navigation on the right to find a topic that may answer your question, or read below for a quick start guide.

Jobbit: The quick introduction!

The idea behind Jobbit is to help people find Tradesmen they can trust.   If you’ve something you need doing on your house, garden or business, you’ll have no end of options of tradesmen to chose from, but how you know who will do a good job?

By using Jobbit to raise jobs, have them bid on and completed through our system, we’ll build up a picture of  who gets consistent marks for the quality of their work, communication and reliability.  We’ll expand on the system to further improve this sort of functionality.   It’s not just there to help the customers either.  Tradesmen will have a site they can go to to find work, and be able to see a view on who is a customer they’d like to do business with.

First you’ll need an account.  Hop over to the guide for creating your account for more information.  This is the same place to start if you are a tradesmen wanting to register.   After that’s completed, you can Post a Job and use the My Account section for managing it.   From this screen you can also do things like Changing your Password, or Managing a List of Favourite tradesmen.

If you’ve made it this far and clicked on some of the links above, you’ll have a pretty good idea now how to use the site and this help section.  Browse through the other articles and go raise a couple of jobs!
