You can create your account in several different ways from Jobbit’s main page at www.jobbit.com. The quickest way is to click on the Register option in the Orange menu at the top. You’ll then see the page shown on the right.

All of the fields marked with a star (*) need to be specified in order to create your account. Don’t worry, there isn’t that much. We ask you to type in your password twice just to make sure you haven’t accidentally pressed the wrong key the first time you enter it – if you did then you’d never know your password!

If you are a tradesman then you should also click on the box labeled “If you are a tradesman and will be using Jobbit to find jobs then please tick this box now.”. You’ll see a few more fields appear for you to fill in but you can get more information on them in the <Tradesman’s Help Section>.

You can then opt-in or or opt-out of receiving Jobbit newsletters and updates, and also opt-in/out of receiving offers from our partners. Then just click on Sign-up.

Next you’ll see a page advising you to check your email to activate your account. You’ll need to find that email we’ve sent you and then click on the link provided in it, otherwise your account won’t get activated. The mail will look something like this:

Once you find your email, click on the link and you’ll see a page advising you that your account has been activated. From there you can start posting jobs for tradesman to quote on – whether it’s for plumbing a washing machine in or fitting a whole new kitchen, or even building an extension or roof, just post what you need doing and see the quotes from the tradesman roll in!
